Spring Openings

• Cleaning out the skimmer/sump and reinstalling the pump (if applicable), cleaning or
  replacing the skimmer mats & basket etc. (Replacement parts are billed at PGP retail).
   
• Cleaning, reinstalling, and starting existing filtration systems.
   
• Reinstalling the U.V. (if any) and installing a fresh U.V. bulb (if desired – UV Bulb
  replacements will be billed at PGP regularly discounted retail pricing).

• Checking the Pond PH and treatment if needed to bring pond to a pH between 6.8 & 9.0.
   
• Treatment of the pond with Beneficial Bacteria for a healthy spring restart of the
  biological pond activities.
   
• Observation of the fish and recommendations for fish health issues if any.
   
• Standard package includes labor and water treatments (Dechlorinator and Beneficial Bacteria as needed for the pond size). 

• We remove the fish, drain and clean the pond with a professional pond vacuum.
   
• Reposition rocks, cords and lights that are out of place.
   
• Trim back existing pond plants as requested by the pond owner.
   
• Begin the refilling process. Treat with Dechlorinator as needed. 

• Treat the water with appropriate treatments, and reintroduce the fish. (We   reserve the option to request that the home owner monitor the completion of the refilling process if we find ourselves just sitting around waiting for the pond to fill). Items like filter mats, U.V. bulbs (if any), and other additional parts will be billed at PGP’s regular retail internet pricing.

The Platinum maintenance program provides weekly pond maintenance services from March through November.

The Gold maintenance program provides for Bi-weekly pond maintenance from April through November. We serve Gold Level ponds twice a month about the same time every-other week.

The Silver maintenance program is about monthly pond maintenance from April through November. We serve Silver level ponds once a month about the same time each month.
